Packet Loss

Hello, it's me again!

I have problems with my packet loss again. Virgin seem to have made it impossible to speak to anyone other than via phone so can you please book me an engineer out?

BQM

Thanks in advance

Hi @Jonnyboybick,

Thanks for your post, and a warm welcome back to our Community Forums!

I'm sorry to hear you're facing problems with packet loss on your service. It can take a few days for our team to review a post, so apologies for the delay there. Unfortunately, the link you have provided does not work, and sends us to a login page.

I've ran checks on our end, and can see that there is some packet loss on your service, and a bit of intermittence. I'm going to send you a private message so we can look into this further. Please look out for it in the purple envelope.

Cheers,

Reece - Forum Team

Hello again,

So the engineer came out. Replace a few things and changed my hub from a 4 to a 5. The issue resolved but by the weekend I was seeing a new issue.

My ping will spike every few seconds and occasionally as demonstrated in the image below it will just crap itself and be really slow for 10-30 seconds. As you can imagine this is incredibly frustrating when online gaming as I keep micro disconnects every few seconds.

Can I get another engineer booked out asap please

My BQM

Phone support were able to sort me out. The ethernet cable that came with the new hub was flakey!
