PC Not Appearing On My Local Network

I have two laptops and a PC all running Windows 10 64 bit HOME edition. My Hub is the Hub 3.0

Both laptops appear on the local network fine, but the PC which is wired by ethernet doesn't. Yesterday I got a blue screen of death which I found out was because the LAN driver needed updating. When I did this the PC immediately appeared on the local network, but this morning having switched off and on it had gone again.

I've checked the network setting in windows and all are set for it to be on the network. Is there a possible cause in the hub which I could look at?

Thanks

Re: PC Not Appearing On My Local Network

Unlikely

More likely to be a permission setting within windows.

Is file sharing ON on the PC? Is it discoverable?

Re: PC Not Appearing On My Local Network

Yes it's set to be discoverable. Internet works fine but other items on the network can't see it

Run through

just to make sure.

I HAVE seen issues where bridging between the wired LAN and Wireless LAN on HUB's is flakey, but not on HUB3

Re: PC Not Appearing On My Local Network

Hi garypjackson

Thank you for posting on our community forum pages.

We are sorry to hear that you are having connection issues with your PC.

Has a reboot been performed on the Hub recently?

What operating system is the device using?
