No network

OMG, just got up tried to access files on my pc from my mobile like normal to find I can't!

I have no home network because I've had my services restricted! What a joke! (turn me off the day I'm paying the bill! No joke!)

Unbungaleavable, really!!

Why?? No home network??

Just like why loss of free view channels when they are Free!

And this is what you get after working for, and using services for over 20yrs!!

Re: No network

Phone customer services to find out why you are restricted.

There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't and F people out of 10 who do not understand hexadecimal

Re: No network

What home network? You rent the Hub and TV boxes - and for whatever reason you dont now - so they been deactivated - whats wrong with that - assuming the reason foe deactivation is genuine ?

--------------------
Services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Re: No network

Hi RJK75,

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear that you've got no services at the moment, has this been sorted since your post?

If not then you can
can text our cable specialists on 07533051809 we’ll be able to get this sorted out for you. Texts are free for Virgin Media customers, and we’re open 8am-7pm Monday - Friday.

In regards to the free view channels being cut off, these are free on free view as that's another platform. However with us they're part of the package and if there's an overdue bill then all channels would be lost I'm afraid.

Thanks.

Re: No network

???

Yes we all know we rent the equipment!!

Home network = computer talking to computer talking to printer talking to mobile device ! Pmsl  Stupid reply!!

Foe???!! You mean For.

I had contacted virgin to say payment would be made a day late, so what they do they restricted my services the next day when I was making payment!! Problem with that was I was using my home network to transfer data (pc/IT engineer) which made me lose data!!

Re: No network

Which is why you need your own router network as the hub is for internet access not a home network.

Spoiler

Your "home network" includes a router that belongs to Virgin Media.

Without their router you don't have a network, only devices that can't connect to each other.
