No internet or tv

Hello,

BT have been doing some work outside our house for a couple of days. Since yesterday we haven't had internet or tv. The TiVo box shows error C133. I have run all the tests and reset everything lots of times. 

Can anyone help? We have a virgin media engineer coming out Tuesday but I would really like it solved before then as we need to internet to work at home.

possible damaged cable, so doubtful anything could be done to get services back on quicker.
