Ive upgraded my package and received another v6 box. It was a quickstart installation. No engineer.
I hoped to watch the football in another room but seems i can only get on demand progs thru the wifi.
So I need a wired box in another room to watch live football.
How much would it cost to have a point installed in my other room?
Is this routed around the outside of my house and does the cost reflect the distance required?
Also can i self wire from the socket I already have?
Thanks
J.

Thanks. Even if it needs 50m of cable to get around the house?

Hi there @Johnniepk
Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the community forums!
Thank you so much to @jbrennand for their advise and they are correct, this would be a chargeable appointment for £25.
In terms of how much cabling is needed, do you mean a 50m ethernet to connect the set top box to the Hub?
Thank you.

Hi @Johnniepk
If you want to watch the live football in another room before the engineer visit, try the following:-
I have a 360 now so can't check if it still works using this method.
Set the match up to record on the main box.
On the box that isn't connected up yet select My Shows.
Scroll down to the end of the My Shows list. There you’ll see the name(s) of the boxes you have connected together.
Select the box you want to watch from, press OK
Then choose the show (football game) you want to watch and press OK
Choose Play now to watch from the start. Or Resume playing to pick up where you left off.
Once you start watching a show you can pause, rewind and fast-forward just as you normally would

Wow.! Ill try that. I can see the rationale of that working.
