Re: Networking help

Hello hammerette,

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry you're having issues with your Sky mini box connecting to the network.

As BenMcr has mentioned, it would be worth connecting via Ethernet to see if that resolves your issue.

Is there no way to manually rename the SSID on the powerline adapters you're currently using?

If this is the problem and you can get them to match this would also resolve the issue.

Let me know how you get on.

Re: Networking help

I have previously renamed the power line adapter to match that of the main SH but that made 0 difference. I don’t want to invest in another power line adaptor for upstairs because that will be on a different SSID as well so effectively have 3 different SSID in the house.

Re: Networking help

Were you able to try the Ethernet connection?

Re: Networking help

Unfortunately I’m unable to use Ethernet as the sky mini boxes are WiFi only as they have to connect to the main box.
