Have you been watching videos thats only for the US? I remember reading users in the UK watching videos for the US by some means? Even if your now doing that its likely Netflix blocked the subnet your in to stop that from happening only VM or Netflix have not updated the DNS to get you to a CDN in the UK.
So you might be left with only putting the hub in modem mode and get your own router for another IP in a different subnet because unless someone knows nothing is going to happen for months.
If it helps to share pain ...... I'm having exactly the same problem. I have a background in technology , though application development rather than networking , so I can follow the gist of the above conversation , but not add anything I'm afraid.
I've had very similar issues with VM support and have provided everything from browser console logs in which you can see the connections getting refused to details of tests I did where I got netlike working via connecting a browser through my phone's data plan then switched back to their broadband connection mid stream and that one show would stream.
It seems in no-ones interest to solve the problem - Netflix keep getting paid and VM keep getting paid whilst I get no service. I'm giving them until tomorrow to get a sensible plan back to me or I'm going to switch service providers as well
