This original booster kit isn’t covered in the help pages on line. It keeps dropping out - any suggestions? I’ve tried most of the obvious stuff- relocating, 0n/off etc,

That’s what I thought, but the message from Virgin is that all the new kit has been swallowed up already. I’ve registered on the waiting list.

You don't have to get the kit from Virgin, you can get it from Amazon etc.
Virgin only rent WiFi extenders now unless your on the ultimate oomph bundle or 1gig service so not worth it IMO
