Modem Only Mode

Hi, I’m a newbie to the forum, just switched from Plusnet.  I’ve just signed up to the 350 service and so far have been underwhelmed by the connectivity particularly the WiFi coverage. Ive been offered a ‘free’ booster but am not hopeful that will solve things as the dead areas are all over the house.

I have the old Netgear Nighthawk I used to use with my Plusnet/BT and that covered the whole house, unlike the Hub 3.

My question is, if I reset the Hub 3 to modem only and connect it to the Nighthawk, will the Ethernet sockets still work on the Hub 3 for the TIVo/TV?

Is there anything else I need to be aware of?

Thanks. James.

Re: Modem Only Mode

when you are in modem mode only the 1st ethernet port works which is where you connect your Netgear Nighthawk router too, you would then need to connect your TIVo/TV to the Netgear Nighthawk router ethernet ports.
