Mac Filtering falling off

I've set up mac filtering for timed access for kids devices, however it keeps falling off and i have to reset them over and over - like it just forgets the devices and then i have to wait for the devices to be online again before i can reset them. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to set different times for different devices.

Can anyone help the hub to just remember and stop dropping them all off.

Sounds like a bug. Try a factory reset and see if the rules are retained.

Failing that there may be an alternative method of blocking access (pretty clever if you ask me!)

Also keep in mind, newer devices will by default use randomised MAC addresses which will render any sort of device control useless. Can be turned off by delving into WiFi settings (I've had to do this on the kids laptops, iPhone and Android phone, so rest assured every device has this)

I'd get my own router and use the hub in modem mode - you'll save your sanity!

The hub is a decent enough modem but as a router it is pretty poor to be honest!
