Hi,
I've been a Virgin customer for many years - 7 at my current address - and lately the quality of my connection seems to have noticeably deteriorated despite me having actually increased the speed; today for example Broadband Quality Monitor is showing a load of latency spiking and some dropped packets between 10 and 2pm, although it's calmed since:
This spiking manifested for me in a pretty crummy Teams/Zoom experience between those hours - not ideal because my wife and I work from home a lot.
Does anyone know what we could do to troubleshoot this further? I wonder if something is up with the line itself.
Some general points as I'm not entirely sure what would be useful to provide here:
Thanks!

Hi @Pyrrhic
Are there any known issues?
Have you looked at Check service status at the top of the page? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there. The Check Service Status is often only populated with details of wide spread outages.
You could also try the automated Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more localised issues down to postcode level. Whilst not ideal it's probably a better indicator of known problems and should also show the latest estimated date/time for the fault to be repaired.

Thanks for the reply! No, no known broadband issues according to the service status page. I managed to speak to someone on the WhatsApp web chat facility earlier and have an engineer booked to take a look at things Thursday. Will report back with my experiences to help others. Thanks!
