Been with Virgin Media for years. I have installed the HUB5 & although all other devices are successfully connected, my laptop (previously connected to the HUB4) can't detect the HUB5.
I'm not at all techie so please dumb down any replies/suggestions!

Gotta love the dear old /new hub 5.
It might be a case of old network drivers. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/fix-wi-fi-connection-issues-in-windows-9424a1f7-6a3b-65a....
Also try an ethernet cable connection.
