LAN issues with Switch plugged into Superhub 3

I have just plugged a Netgear smart Managed switch (GS116E) into my superhub 3, and wired 2 devices into it.

Both devices have been assigned IP addresses and are visible in the hub GUi, but oddly the switch itself is not.  Even though DHCP is enabled, I'm having to use the default ip address to access the switch GUI, which I didn't think I'd need to do, but this isn't appearing in the Hub GUI either?

any ideas?

Andy

Re: LAN issues with Switch plugged into Superhub 3

most switches don't make a DORA, aka DCHP request for an IP address, this is configured manually set a static so always has the same IP address for ease of configuration, doubtful the hub would ever see the switch as a device, since hub mainly show end devices e.g. laptops, desktops, mobiles etc
