Is my Hub 3.0 up to date?

SteveS52
On our wavelength

Having read the BBC article on security risks with home routers (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-56996717) how can I check that my router has the latest software?

It's a Hub 3.0, running software version 9.1.1912.304, but this doesn't tell me how recent it is, or if it is the most recent.

Thanks,

Steve

From the article - It seems that as far as VM is concerned; it is the Superhub (1.0) and the Superhub 2 that could be affected

If you're concerned I think a power-off for 5 minutes at least and then turning it back on will update any firmware!

(Unless it is a reset to factory settings that forces a firmware update)

Thanks for the info, I may give those tow ideas a try. That would reassure me that I'm running the latest software, but is there any way to tell the date of the software version that is loaded?

I don't think there is!

The latest updates brought in the 'intelligent' wifi though I believe!

The article isn’t applicable to the Hub3 or Hub4.

It’s done a good job of scaremongering people though…
