So I bought this waste of money 3 weeks ago. first two weeks were fine. Didnt get advertised or guaranteed speeds but it was fast enough. As of two days ago. I start getting slow speeds all day. The speed will vary from 5mb/s to 300 kb/s.. Currently trying to download a 6gb game and its telling me it will take 4 hours.. I've tried Wifi 2.4 ghz and 5ghz and also ethernet ports. My ping in games is super high and i am constantly disconnected and reconnected within a second every 5 seconds making online unplayable. Youtube struggles to load as well as other basic searches.. It took me 10 mins for the links on here to actually take me to the sign up page. I should have gone with hyperoptic lol

Are the issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection related?

What Hub model is it and what are the various Hub lights showing/doing when this happens?

To test speed and connections "properly" can you do this

As you expect >100Mbps then connect a 1GB enabled computer/laptop, with up to date drivers, via a NEW and working Cat5e/6a ethernet cable, directly to the Hub which you have put into “modem mode” (https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-media-hub-modem-mode ). This ensures that NO other devices are connected that can interfere

Test speeds at https://speedtest.samknows.com/ - try on 2 different browsers.

If they are still low – boot you device into windows safe+networking mode to disable any potentially interfering software - and try again.

There are many posts on here (I have a list of ~30!) where QoS software, unknown/flaky software, old network card drivers, corrupted browsers, bad cables or other connected devices are limiting speeds on tests.

Report back what that gets.
