Internet dropping intermittently, again!

Hi,

We are again having issues with our internet connection intermittently dropping.
I have had a look at the network log and there seems to be an issue somewhere.
Looks a lot like the errors we were having over the summer when an engineer
had to visit. Network log attached below.

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light?

Re: Internet dropping intermittently, again!

Are you experiencing the disconnections on a wired or wireless connection?

Thee is no evidence in the logs that the connection is dropping.

THe rest of the stats as requested above would be handy

Re: Internet dropping intermittently, again!

Hi Tmaitland,

Sorry to hear you've been getting drop outs. I've just checked your connection and can see no issues from here. Your power levels, SNR and area contention all look healthy.

Are you dropping offline on a wireless connection or wired?

Re: Internet dropping intermittently, again!

Hi, We have the router wired via Ethernet into a tp-link TL-PA8010P which is connecting to two TP-WPA8630P powerlines which we are then connecting to wirelessly. Cheers Tom

Re: Internet dropping intermittently, again!

Hi tmaitland,

Welcome to the forums, I am sorry to see you have been having trouble with your connection.

I have taken a look and your upstream power levels are a touch on the high side and the downstream modem SNR a touch on the low side. I can also see a few power adjustment issues. I would like to get an engineer out to take a look at this for you.

I will pop you a Pm to get this arranged. Keep an eye out for the Purple Envelope top right hand corner.

Speak to you soon.

Emma
