Intermittent connection to work network on Hub3

When working on my work laptop and connected to Global Protect network, the connection drops out several times an hour, making it impossible to have any video calls and very disruptive for all uses. 

This same issue happens whether I am connected to VM via Wifi or ethernet. I tried connecting on my friend's internet (also VM Hub 3 in the same village) and had absolutely no issues, the connection didn't drop out once all day. 

Any advice? This issue has been going on for about 2 months (started all of a sudden after having no issues) and it is proving incredibly challenging to get hold of any tech support at Virgin.
