Intermittent broadband connection; Connected no internet

Hi all,

As titled my WiFi/broadband connection (I also test with Ethernet cables) intermittently stops working, often stating "connected, no internet" or the like. 

I've read through the forum posts of people who have had similar issues, and tried all of the various techniques I could find: hold reset for 1 minute, checked cables, run service checks (which state there are no issues) etc.

Just today the connection has cut out 5 times in one hour, and this is not the first day this has occurred.

Please go into your hub on 192.168.0.1 and post your up/downstream stats and network log.

. In your browser’s URL box type in http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode) and hit return. On the first page up [there should be no need to login if you have done so before] click on the “router status” icon at top right (SH2’s) or the text at bottom-middle of first page up (Hub3) and then copy/paste 3 FULL sets of data onto here – from the downstream, upstream, & network logs pages. Don't worry too much about the formatting it can be easily read & DON’T include personal data or MAC addresses - blank them out - if you copy/paste the data, the board software will do this for you.

There doesn't seem to be either a "router status" icon in the top right or text at the bottom middle available to click on.

What Hub is it ?  That probably means that you have never logged on to the Hub before. So log on - change a password if you like, then save changes, log off and then try again.

I've just logged out and back in again (twice), and I'm still getting the same page I had before.

I believe I've just found the info you're after. I clicked on "Tools" on the left hand side of the page and then "Network Status". I'm currently working off of a mobile and copy and pasting the data may prove troublesome. So I'm going to wait for a clear patch in my WiFi so I can use my laptop.

... and it's a hub 3. Sorry forgot to put that in my initial response.

Needs a superuser to comment - but the logs dont look good with a lot of T3's in a short space of time. Updstream power levels are high too - but may be ok.
Looks as if you will need a technician's visit.
