Intermittent Wifi cut out and Low bandwith warnings on streaming services like amazon prime and netflix

Ever since Virgin announced the hub update and the new app for connection problems over wifi. I have been getting intermittent wifi cut out. The devices still say they are connected but now get a ! mark next to the wifi symbol which still shows full signal strength. However when i turn the wifi on and off again it reconnects same signal strength but no ! mark.

I am now getting low bandwith warnings when trying to use Amazon prime and netflix. They say its so low that i may experience buffering. Now i am on vivid 350 so this should not be happening. I run a test on my equipment it didnt find any faults.  This was on a wired connection both on ps4 and my gaming pc.

Can someone look into this issue for me at the moment it seems to be intermittent but its very annoying to have to keep rebooting the hub. I even downloaded the virgin connect app and that says the hub is performing well. I have power cycled the hub and it still happens and i have reset using the connect app it says it was unable to perform but then the hub reboots anyway?

Yes the update has been bad you may want to get your own router and go with modem mode.

But lets see wants wrong with your connection can you run a speed test.

and setup a BQM

this is intermittent tho... Prior to update consistently 350+ download on vivid 350 and 24/25 upload. It also connecting to a university server in woking when i am from southampton?

Fast has internet speed at 400 Mbps

Think broadband have my results as following using there speed tests.

I have created an account and set up a BGM on there as well.

However the BGM chart just stays blank? (i dont really understand that tbh)

Results:

average download speed of 249.17 MBPS thats the average tho..

latency: 55 ms

download: 229 mbps

upload: 20.2 mbps

 

i ran this test after running my first which had the average download speed so in that short period of time i have lost 20 mbps and that is after a hub reset... Hub resets dont seem to help this issue either...

When you get low bandwith warnings run the speed here to test the 1x connection.

you can also test this by fast.com after the 1st speed test click show more info > settings Parallel connections min & max 1

it varies from 210 to 380 download on a wired connection.

My average download speed is currently 232.56 across all the tests i have done over last couple of days with an upload average of 18

Something is wrong somewhere.

There have been two faults in my area over the last month according to the status report but apparently all are now fixed.
