“Important terminator cap”

I’m returning my Virgin media equipment and after discussing my options with a team member we decided to send my return pack to my new address after I moved out of the property which had the virgin media wifi. I have now received the returns pack with the silver terminator cap I’m supposed to put on the Virgin media wall socket. However as I have moved out of the previous property I can’t do that. Any ideas as to whether I’ll get charged for not being able to put the terminator cap on the wall socket? The returns form says it’s super important but as I’ve already moved there is no way I can put the terminator cap on.

Honestly just forget about it, as long as VM get their equipment back they won’t care.

The terminator cap is to stop potential interference getting into the system due to having ‘open ends’ with nothing connected to them. However although they should really be fitted, it certainly isn't ‘super important'
