Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

Just curious to know if responders are on the Super Hub 2 or Super Hub 3.  I am also experiencing issues and am on a Super Hub 2.

Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

Thanks David,  I have an Engineer calling tomorrow as I have gone through a number of phone calls and resets with the problem coming back after about 30 mins each time.  Broadband wired connection is fine but wifi just loses connection and wont allow pages or emails to update with constant spinning circle.  Hopefully they will just replace my hub which i think will sort it.  We will see and I will post back with an update tomorrow.

Interestingly I had a sales call this week with Virgin trying to get me to upgrade and the sales guy said that my equipment was old and not compatible with their system any more. (that could have been sales talk though).

Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

Well after a 4 hour conversation with Apple Support, they tell me that my iPhone 6s is performing as expected & lay any problems at Virgin Media door.

thing is if I turn airplane mode on then off again the broadband connection wakes up & is connected untill the iPhone enters sleep mode, then I have to repeat the procedure again

Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

I have this problem too. No solutions though. I have advised my wife not to update her iPhone until the problem is identified and fixed. The WiFi internet on my phone and iPad is unusable at the moment.

Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

I can also relate to this problem... recently updated to 11.4.1 and experiencing the WiFi dropping out, 100 % sure its a ios issue as i downgraded to ios 11.4 and didn't experience the WiFi dropping out.

Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

So how do you downgrade back to 11.4 from 11.4.1? That seems to be my only option at the moment

I wasn’t sure if 11.4 was still being signed so I installed iOS 12 beta. Problem also exists with that version at the moment so doesn’t bode well.

Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

Yeah i did the same thing and went to ios 12 beta and still had the WiFi issue,

if you go to https://ipsw.me/ you can download the 11.4 file, just looking a simple guide for anyone who isn't sure on downgrading, one thing i noticed downgrading it messed my camera roll up ( pics where not in chronological order ), but defo do a backup of your current iphone/ipad before doing anything in-case of lost data

Re: IPhone iOS 11.4.1

You wont be able to restore the backup though as you will have downgraded the iOS. It will only restore to the same or newer version.
