Hub3 keeps dropping wifi.

Over the past few weeks, one or twice a night, the wifi just drops off on all devices. Takes about 10 mins to come back on. The green lights on the front of the hub come on as well. Tonight it's been on and off about ten times, three times while trying to write this post.

I don't know how to post the logs on here, but the downstream power levels are in the range of -10.5 to -18.5 dBmV. This seems low compared to others. Could this be where the problem lies?

Yes, they are horrendously low. Call VM and get a technician out to your home.

Re: Hub3 keeps dropping wifi.

Did a reset this morning. Made very little difference. The readings are still very low.

I suppose this means I'm losing the broadband connection rather than just the wifi?

Re: Hub3 keeps dropping wifi.

You need good broadband to stand a chance of getting good WiFi. Bad broadband means bad WiFi at best and very possibly no WiFi at all.

Re: Hub3 keeps dropping wifi.

This is the best screen shot I can get with my limited knowledge. Do you think it warrants a call out?

Re: Hub3 keeps dropping wifi.

Same problem here. Some days I have to reboot/reset 5 or 6 times. I had a technician booked but stupidly cancelled the appointment after 48 hours of troublefree internet. I am seriously thinking of changing to a different ISP.  had a look at the downstream stuff in this thread and mine all seem to be close to 0 though in the network status I get lots of stuff which doesn't look right to me

Re: Hub3 keeps dropping wifi.

I'm sorry to hear about the disconnections experienced Ftwizard,

I've located your details and your power and SNR levels are currently displayed as out of spec.

I've sent you a private message so that we can get an engineer visit arranged.

Catch you in a bit,

Re: Hub3 keeps dropping wifi.

I have a similar problem, though on the HUB 2. It is more and more frequent I need to reset the hub. Yet, my WiFi works off a different router and HUB is working in the modem mode only. So it looks like the HUB is dropping out a connection rather just WiFi (at least in my case)
