Like others here, I have started having problems with my Hub3, how do I order a replacement?

Re: Hub3 issues

Hi Z92, thanks for responding. For years I have used the HUB3 in Modem Mode to connect with my Cisco ASA5505, but in Modem Mode DHCP has stopped working. I have done a factory reset on the HUB (paperclip in the hole for 70secs) several times but no joy. If I change the HUB to Router Mode and connect a laptop to the HUB using Ethernet I can get out to the Internet, but when I go back to Modem Mode and reconnect the ASA it doesn't assign the ASA an outside IP.

Re: Hub3 issues

doesn't sound like the hub is faulty to be honest, as the hub can get an external IP address (it makes no difference if it's in modem or router mode).

however, if things aren't rebooted in the correct order then you can end up with your router not getting the IP from the modem.

at what point did it stop working? and what changed to make the router not get the DHCP address? if everything was left on then it should not have dropped connection.

have you ruled out a fault with the router itself?
