Hub3 Overheat Light

Hi,

I've been using the same Hub3 for a few years now and I've noticed it has started to consistently display a solid red light, implying its overheating. However the router sits upright away from any heat sources, out of direct sunlight, and is free of dust, bust nothing I do seems to stop this red light from occuring, including resetting the router, repositioning it, and unplugging for a couple hours to cool it off.

At the moment I haven't experienced any drop in service, however I would be grateful if someone could point me towards a solution, as I'd like to fix the problem before I experience any issues.

many thanks

Mike

Hello cullummc,

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community.
Sorry to hear you are having an issue the red light on the Hub.

This will definitely need replacing,

Thank you making sure its in a cool well ventilated place.
If you don't mind, I will need to send you a private message to pass security to arrange the swap.
If you can check the purple envelope top right of your screen that would be great.
