No idea why this is happening and is really frustrating and looks like what other people experience.

Just to say, nothing that’s happening to one person is common to what’s happening to another, generally. Your problem will be local to you or your immediate locality.

It takes a couple of days for the VM bods to get round to you. So if you want the community experts to do a bit of diagnosis, please post all the power levels.

Yeah - those power levels are unsustainable.

Do please check that your coax cable is tightly screwed in at both ends. What we’re seeing is typical of of loose connection.

Otherwise it’ll need a technician to sort this out. Also you might check with your neighbours to see if they have the same issues.
Seph - ( DEFROCKED - My advice is at your risk)

What leads you that ? I've checked now and the results don't appear too different and the internet has been fine for about 4-5 hours.

During the time that the Internet connection has behaving, the stats you provided that are reproduced below would not have been in force.  In particular, the upstream cannot function (by design) if the power level exceeds 51dBmv - it reboots.  So, something got fixed.  If you can be bothered, it would be interesting to see your stats now that it's working again.

Thanks. You may think it's working but it's not! At least not at the stats snapshot moment.

You said "according to my firewall". If it were me, it would be on the basis of my fingertip experience. You'll be getting modem resets because of the upstream.

Keep reporting.
Seph - ( DEFROCKED - My advice is at your risk)

I say "according to my firewall" - it is sensitive to WAN disconnects as it has a backup WAN and records them in its event log.

How has it not dropped/reset in that case? I'm getting a good latency and a consistent upload according to speedtest.net and speed tests on the firewall.

I'll see how it goes, thanks for the help.

Here's the latest upstream config dump

Unless the Hub is misreporting, the upstream power requires that the Hub resets.

If your real life experience is different, then VM need to get hold of this aberration.
