My router hub has a red light, not white as it should be. Still working and not hot. Any ideas?

Is it in modem mode, or router mode?
If it is in router mode put your ethernet cable from your own router
into the ethernet port nearest the VM coaxial cable.
If you get no luck with that after 10 minutes reset the hub using a pin or small nail, or ballpoint pen.
follow the instructions on how to reset the hub
Once the hub is reset you should get a good connection
plug a computer in directly
not via a router or switch
It should now work
