Hub 5 - wifi not serving IP addresses

I moved my Hub 5 to the other side of my room, so it was basically switched off, moved and switched on again!

Since then 4 separate devices connect to the wifi network but don’t get a valid IP (169.254.xx.yy)

There is a solid white light on the hub. I’ve switched it off and on twice now without it improving the situation.

Any ideas? Work will be interesting tomorrow without internet!

How did you extend the coaxial cable to move the hub?

I didn’t extend it.

The cable as installed was already long enough as the hub when installed was in the position it’s now back at!

just thinking, I connect two 2.4ghz smart plugs yesterday, could they be causing issues? Although they shouldn't affect ethernet surely??

Managed to get thru to telephone support, they have referred me to the next level, might hear something in 24-48 hours!

Meanwhile I get random minutes of connectivity, even hardwired ethernet directly into the router is struggling!

Should have just kept my Hub 4 and BT Wholehome discs, sent the hub back Saturday as everything seem ok - which was a big error!
