Hub 5 constantly disconnecting

I have upgraded to a hub 5 and have the worst internet connection in the world it goes down constantly and has to be rebooted or reset every day.

I am supposed to work from home. Thank god for mobile hot spot

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.

If no area faults found, provide some stats:

How to get stats from a VM hub (no need to logon to the hub)

Open a web browser and go to 192.168.0.1 router mode or 192.168.100.1 modem mode

  • Click on the “> Check router status” button
  • Click on the “Downstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply, do not take a screen shot
  • Click on the “Upstream” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply
  • Click on the “Networking” tab, copy the text and paste into your reply.
    • Do NOT post photos or screen shots they will be rejected as they contain MAC addresses. The board software will automatically change MAC addresses to **:** if done as above.

It was rubbish on friday but i wasn't really around over the weekend to check it. It seem to be ok so far today

Same here too never really had much trouble with hub 3’ I’m not entirely sure what is happening with the new hub 5 it seems to just drop connection whenever it feels like it.

How have things been looking since your last post? 

 

 

Same here! Just renewed contact. New hub 5 supplied, no problem with old hub, now drops internet. Customer service gives me the runaround with the reboot or reset hub and give it 24 hours.
