had to reboot hub - after no connectivity
last night showed issue in my area, this morning no issues shown
hub shows solid green light - i can’t see what that colour is in any of the guides ? have rebooted several times . Removed all other connections between hub and computer - so now direct ethernet connection . i’m out of ideas ! Help !

If the local issue has cleared then a pinhole factory reset can help with the Hub 5 https://www.virginmedia.com/help/broadband/reboot-or-reset-hub

A solid green light on the hub 5 means the hub is in modem mode.

Thanks for this. I've just updated to Hub 5 from Hub 3 the lights confused me a little bit and wish Virgin would update their site accordingly. Hub 3 in modem mode was Solid Red light and indeed with Hub 5 is a Solid Green light.
