Hub 5 - How many working network ports when in modem mode?

Hi All,

Hub 5 - How many network ports are operational when in modem mode?

I've read conflicting information on this, so after a bit of clarity hopefully. My current understanding is that all 4 ports on the Hub 5 only work when in router mode. When in modem mode only 1 port works and it doesn't matter which one - it's the one that the 1st bit of kit gets plugged it (e.g. Orbi RBR50 in Router mode)

Have I got this wrong?

All four ports should work in router mode and only one port will work in modem mode, it’s suggested you use port 4 in modem mode. You should NOT have the hub in router mode with any other network equipment in router mode, it should be in bridge mode. With another router you should have the VM hub in modem mode.

Thanks Tudor,

By port 4 do you mean the 2.5 Gbps port?
