Hub 5 Flashing green

Hi,

I have a hub 5 in modem mode internet currently working but getting a green flashing light on the box for over 5 hours now.

Network Log has the following:-

02-08-2022 19:08:50errorSW upgrade Failed before download - File not Present
02-08-2022 19:08:50noticeSW Download INIT - Via Config file cmreg-vmdg660-bbt062-b.cm

 

Also getting Internal server error when trying to view status and downstream.

Tried factory reset from the modem menu. Rebooted etc still the same.

Any ideas?

Any known issues being reported ?

1) Try the “check service,”Area status webpage" (link at top right of this forum)

2) Then also try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues down to postcode level.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

I'm getting exactly the same at the moment. Landline that goes through the modem is down as well. Tried the same reboots to no avail.

I'm showing this version information. Not sure if this correlates with yours?

Don't have landline.

No idea if thats new older or what.
 
Still the same now.  I do not get anymore attempt to download or trying to update.

 

Hey stoke2010, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear your Hub5 has a flashing green light on it.

Please can you confirm if you have tried the router out of modem mode and it's still flashing green?

Also when you say you have it modem mode are you running a mesh system through it? Thanks

I’ve seen a failed update before on a hub5 and the solution was a replacement hub.

Mine has now updated on its own. Took about 3 days of flashing green light.

Now currently showing Hub 5 on the router page rather than Hub 3 as it was before

Well just changed it back to router and I get the white light on the front and all the menus use work again.

Moved it back in to modem mode and it’s now sitting at a solid green light.  The menus are working again now as well so can now see downstream and status pages.

I have it connected to an asus router with 2 x omada tp link access points.

How has the connection been over the weekend is everything working as it should do now, any issue at all?

I have also taken another look and everything is look prefect and I cannot see any issues at all. Thanks
