Hub 4 reset SSD name on 2.4GHz

adamelphick
Up to speed

Well suddenly a load of my smart device were having trouble - not connected apparently - yet my Google Home's were fine, and so was my phone.

Did a check on available SSID's and low and behold the 2.4GHz was gone (I Have them split)!  Couldn't log in to the hub via WiFi either.

Anyway I logged in via Ethernet and the 2.4GHz SSID had changed back to the original VM**** one and the PW had reset to some random one.  I have changed it back but I am guessing this is yet another bug (like the weird 'unable to name any device thath isn't on the top row' bug).

I hope this one gets fixed as it could kill remote security devices on the lower band (especially bad if you are monitoring your home while away for example).

Thanks for your post adamelphick, and we're sorry to hear that the 2.4GHz band had reset to it's default setting.

Do feel free to come back to us with any further updates.

Hopefully if this is indeed a bug with the firmware, as you suggest it is, we'll have this resolved as soon as possible with one of our pending updates

Kindest regards,
