Hub 4 "default gateway is not open"

Wifi is continually dropping out.  Noticeably on the 3 laptops (2 x HP, 1 x Dell) in the house, reporting "default gateway is not open".

I've manually changed the channels of both 2.4 and 5ghz, reset router, checked connections, updates etc., no issues with hardwired XBox One, and no issues with PC on Wifi connection.  Appears to be no issues with Samsung S7 or Apple i8 and i6S. 

Any ideas please?

Put the hub into modem mode with your own router or mesh system

The hub 4 is so bad VM will not fix it fast thats if they can!

Just use it in modem mode to send a message to VM "ok we get it for the next hub do a modem only with a 10Gb port"

SOLVED

1.  Don't give your Hub 3 back to the collection guy who turns up unannounced.

 

2. Do call Technical Support (1hr wait for call to be answered) and be patronised about Wi-Fi boosters and 6 connected devices being too many for the Hub 4 to cope with.

 

3.  Demand that they re-initialise the old Hub 3.

 

4.  Put Hub 4 back in box and wait for unannounced collection guy to come back.

 

5.  Refuse future Hub 4 upgrade offers.
