Hub 3 to Hub 4 modem mode

Tuning in

Hello

Until yesterday, I was running my Hub 3 on modem mode and my 3rd party router (Netgear Orbi) was on 192.168.0.1 (and all devices on the 192.168.0.x network). Yesterday I received a new Hub 4, put it into modem mode (and I can access through 192.168.100.1) BUT it also CONTINUES to use 192.168.0.1 as a way to access it. This meant my Netgear Orbi had to automatically switch to 192.168.1.1 - and it caused issues around my home with the new network - Sonos etc. Why in modem mode is the Hub 4 still keeping hold of 192.168.0.1? My Hub 3 switched to 100.1 and let go of 0.1. Any thoughts much appreciated! thanks,

Power off the VM hub, make sure your router in on 192.168.0.1 and powered up before connecting it to the VM hub, then power on the VM hub.

Likely because some people might not know about 192.168.100.1 so 192.168.0.1 works in both modes.

But you should be able to change the LAN back to 192.168.0.x on your router without problem which means you can get to your router at 192.168.0.1 but not the hub and you have to use 192.168.100.1.
