Hub 3 port connections

Ok so I have run a CAT7 Ethernet cable from one room which has a V6 box & the Hub 3 to another room with a TiVo box in it. In the room with the TiVo box I have added a TP 5 port switch as want to connect the smart tv up too.

whilst I have had it working the whole box to box so I can view recordings from one room on the other box & had the smart tv connected it seems patchy as if I go back to it the settings aren’t there & sometimes it connects & sometimes it doesn’t. The lights on the back of the port switch are on but was wondering if there is something else I need to do?

Sorry that you're having issues with your set up - is it streaming from box to box that you're having the issue with? I am sorry but I got a bit lost with your post - apologies.

I think the OP has something like this.

Hub 3.0 |--> V6
              |--> TP-Link switch |--> TiVO
                                             |--> TV

It's worth powering off the V6 and the TiVo, waiting several minutes and rebooting.
