Hub 3 Virgin power line adapter & TP Link power line adapter

Nope_Nope
Tuning in

Hi all,

I have a Hub 3 with a power line adapter, I need another adapter to reach more rooms but would rather buy them not rent the ones from Virgin, anyone know if the TP Link power line adapters will work with the existing Virgin Powerline adapters? or would I need to ditch the existing Virgin powerline boosters and just use the TP link ones, I’ve searched here but couldn’t find the answer, emailed TP link and they couldn’t confirm if they work with the Virgin adapters either.

Thanks for any help 🙂

Hello

Virgin Media Boosters use G.Hn technology and will only connect to other Boosters using G.Hn. If the Booster is using G.Hn your security settings may be the issue. Follow steps earlier in this section to pair the Boosters and sync the security settings.

You can find the info in the installation guide https://www.virginmedia.com/content/dam/virginmedia/dotcom/images/shop/downloads/Additional-and-Wire... in the troubleshooting section.

Also to add that Vriginmedia no longer supply boosters they use a system of WiFi Pods. https://www.virginmedia.com/shop/broadband/intelligent-wifi-pods-new
