I want to get a power adaptor extension cable, what size is the plug at the end?

Sorry, not a mains adapter, I meant to extend the lead from the adapter to the hub. I measured the fitting at the end the internal diameter seems to be 3.0mm but most of the extenders seem to be 2.5mm would these fit (e.g. this one)

Personally I wouldn't extend the low voltage side as it causes slight voltage drop.
I would just use a longer C7 cable. My hub 3 power brick uses this type of mains lead:

Thank you but I would like to give it a go. The configuration I have in my flat doesn't lend itself to a mains extension as the plug would be half way across the floor. I would only need an extra metre on the 12V cable I'm hoping the voltage drop may not be a problem.
