Hub 3.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure and RCS Partial Service errors

Hi all, over the past month my Hub 3 router has become more and more unrealiable in terms of internet stability and latency. I have a Windows PC that is plugged directly into the router via Ethernet. I have the M200 Fibre Broadband package and have recently been getting around 15-50 Mbps:

There are other devices on my network but nothing downloading or causing other activity.

However my speeds are not the issue, it's the error log in my router status:

I get these Sync Timing Failure and RCS partial Service errors all day long, with random latency errors too and spikes.

Can VM please help, can I get an engine out to look at these issues? I've called 0800 561 0061 and there are no service issues in my area either. I've also hard reset my router and I still get the errors.

Too many downstream Pre & Post RS error, all upstream have too high power and lots of T3. These figures are accumulative so you cannot tell if they are recent or not. So please power cycle your hub and it will reset the counters. Then after a few hours post a new set of stats so we can get up to date figures. Also check for local faults. 

Check with Area faults on  0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150

I power cycled my router (unplugged completely for 1-2 mins) and then left my internet on while I worked for a few hours. Here is the new status logs:

Hi,

Just want to follow up on this. The Engineer came round and was amazing, really great. Turns out one of the male plugs from the VM box in our flat to the router actually had a massively recessed pin so it was barely making contact. He fixed that and the router got a lot more stable.

However the router is still showing errors. I power cycled my hub last night, is it possible for someone to advise? We are still getting a bit slow speeds.

Clearly there's still an underlying noise fault, and you'll need a technician out again.  You can try phoning it in, but in your shoes I'd wait for the forum staff to take a look and advise.  Dealing with the forum staff is a far more civilised option than VM's telephone support, which often seems to be inspired by the work of Franz Kafka, and to intentionally merge the worst elements of RyanAir, Aeroflot, and the North Korean State Customer Service Bureau.
