Hub 3.0 Issues

Lezuls
Tuning in

Over the past several weeks we've been having issues with our WiFi. We would only manage to get a few hours of connectivity before it would stop working. Turning it on and off stopped working. We tried restarting it but that's now stopped working. When looking on the dashboard page it says WiFi is working but Internet says access denied. On the hub the power light is green and flashing and the green wifi symbol is also showing. Sometimes it will flash along with the green arrows. We have tried everything but nothing seems to work and now we are just stuck without any Internet access.

When we got in contact with a technician they said something was wrong on their end. They fixed it. We had WiFi for a few hours but then it went down again. That was a few weeks ago and the problems are still persisting. What is going on.

Check for local issues on 0800 561 0061 and ensure that all cables and connections are tight and secure and not kinked or damaged.

All the cables are fine and as for local issues there aren't any local broadband issues. Only TV issues. But that shouldn't affect the WiFi hub, right?

Yup.

Hmmm.

Try a 30 second pinhole reset of the hub with no ethernet connection.

If still not okay then post your stats via John's instructions at https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Networking-and-WiFi/internet-keeps-disconnecting/m-p/5027901

If you can post the tables from all of the tabs please.

The 1970 date stamps are not a good start and often indicate a connection issue between your hub and the local VM cabinet.

The other 2 tables don't have any info on them at all

Can you see tabs for status, downstream, and upstream? They'd be useful.

Bottom line is you will probably need to call this in as a fault on 0345 454 1111.
