How to order a pod existing o2 customer?

Hi,
Hoping someone can advise. Had Virgin installed yesterday and unfortunately the majority of the upstairs is getting a wi fi signal way below 20mbps.

The virgin media connect app is recognising the result is poor but no option to get a wi fi pod.

When I try to get a pod it seems like I an going to be charged even though I am an existing o2 customer who should be able to get up to 3 for free.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hello Mubz12,

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our Community.

Sorry it took us a few days to get back to you regarding the Pod.

I can see you have managed to order one now.

Can you please let us know how you get on with this one.

If you do need to order another one , we can get that sorted for you.

Hi

You need to have 1 Gig broadband, Volt or Ultimate Oomph to get them free.

Info can be found here

Thanks for the swift response.

The bundle I have is a VOLT bundle. However it does seem to recognise I am already on O2 and now have Virgin broadband, tv etc.

Therefore anytime I try to progress and unlock Volt benefits it is trying to get me to join O2.

Thanks

I could be wrong but that sounds like you are trying from your Virgin account. Have you tried activating the Volt benefits from your My O2 account.

Yes I have tried both ways. Via O2 it takes me to a link to join Virgin. Virgin tries to get me to join O2.

I have been unable to contact either company as well.

Not too sure which one would be the best to contact, I think I would try speaking to O2 first, I thought their response to answering the phone was quicker than Virgins, you might need a member of the forum team to pick this up which could be 2 to 3 days.

Hope you get an answer soon.

Thanks so much for all the help.

Really appreciate it.
