Hive hub no longer connects to Hive server

Hi everyone

Virginmedia recently upgraded our broadband and now my Hive hub can't connect to the Hive servers.

Has Virgin changed the firewall settings or something else? The Hive hub seems to be working correctly and Hive suggested I called Virgin...

Thanks

A reset has fixed this for a number of users on here - try this...
_____________________________________________

Do a Hub “pinhole reset” - first make sure the 2 passwords on the Hub sticker are still there and legible first ! Disconnect any ethernet cables from the Hub (leave the coax connected), and then with the Hub still "switched on" throughout, press pin in firmly with paper clip/SIM tray tool or similar "thin thing" and hold it firmly for at least 60 (a timed sixty) seconds, release the pin, leave for 5’ to stabilise - dont manually switch it off at any time. Passwords and SSID’s will reset to those on the Hub sticker.

See if that sorts it.

Thanks John that has fixed it. I had tried a hard reset before, but I obviously didn't do it correctly!

I now need to sort of my Hive thermostat as I had changed it to stand alone mode.

Best wishes

Linda

Hey @Scott841,

Sorry to hear you have been having this issue, did you follow the advice provided previously on this post? If so was that unable to correct your issue? If so can you confirm the type of Hive Hub you have?
