High latency 150ms

Seems I’m a virgin virgin customer, 2 days in, cracking speeds terrible latency - seeing 150ms. This is impacting work conf calls first and then gaming in the evening.

router is hub 3.0 in modem mode.

my internal network worked perfectly/ no latency issues; 3 days prior on a 4g+ lte connection and 5weeks prior on a dia 60mb bt line. I have only changed the WAN.

checked the hub while in modem mode and it looks fine.

 What other checks can I do? And what are the next steps VM can take to diagnosing?
