High Latency and packet loss made gaming a curse

So heres another post about packet loss and high latency with Virgin media .  My friend who just left Virgin for Bt now has around 14ms in game and im still stuck at 33ms on Virgin LOL . The fact we live next door to each other makes it more laughable and proves virgins Internet is unfit for use for gamers and streamers.

After setting up a Bqm my latency spikes to 400ms every 20 seconds or so. My Bt neighbour has 1 teeny tiny latency spike once every hour.

So today i bit the bullet and cancelled my contract with Virgin along with a £240 cancellation fee as they saw nothing wrong back at HQ .

I hope whoever reads this sees the light and avoid virgin at all cost . I had 500mb fibre  and my neighbour has 50mb download Fttc connection and is miles better than mine in terms of latency and stability.

Here is my PROOF

DOCSIS inherently has a latency than other types of internet connection.

What did you do about your poor speed? Did you phone customer services? Did you request help on the board?
