Help needed to order a Wifi Pod or two

Hi All

Just tried the online chat to order a Wifi pods. The Bot was great, verified me in no time and told me I was connecting to a real Agent and then..........

over an hour later still waiting for a human to join the chat.

Is there any other way to sort this out? Do VM staff see these posts and can we sort out via DM? 

Any suggestions gratefully received. Thank you.

You call 0800 064 3850 to order the first one after scanning for blackspots using the connect App.- or just wait here for a VM person to respond in a day or two and they will sort the first one for you.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

I am so sorry that you have faced this issue order a WiFi Pod. Can I ask if you have used the Connect App at all to try and order one? 

 

To use the app correctly please follow these steps: 

·         Tap Start the scan
·         Then Start the scan again
·         While connect to WiFi, Tap I’m ready
·         Wait 2 mintues for Scan
·         Scan complete, Tap continue
·         Tap Add a room, Tap the room you're in
·         Start the Scan (do this in every room)
·         Scan complete
·         Tap Optimise WiFi now if an option
·         If so, Tap Optimise
·         Optimisation complete, Tap Rescan room, 
·         Tap Start Scan
·         Tap Order a WiFi Booster if an option

Yes, I’ve followed all those steps many times but the option to order a Pod doesn’t show up.

Thanks for your post about your frustrating journey with ordering a WIFI Pod, I am sorry if it's been causing some frustration.

Were you able to order a WIFI pod through the text chat service when you last attempted?

If not, would this be your 1st Pod that you've ordered?

Only 1 pod at a time can be sent out, the next pod needs to be ordered 24 hours after the 1st one has been installed and settled into your home network.
