Green Flashing Wifi Light & Fluctuating Download Speeds

Hello!

I have only been with VM for about 2 weeks and already sick to death of the awful customer services.

Anyway, today my Wifi Light has been flashing green and my download speeds have been fluctuating all over the place. I am meant to get 100Mbps - I am only 0.3miles from the exchange but never get anywhere hear half of this speed - but today it has fluctuated between about 17Mbps & 48Mbps. 

Is this the sort of thing I can expect to have to put up with?

1 Report the problem to customer services 

2 Go into your hub on 192.168.0.1 and post your up/down stream stats and network log. We can then take a look at you circuit signal levels

1) Done - not that they were at all interested.

2) I know how to log into my router - but could you explain to me how i get myup/down stream stats and network log, please?

Sorry to read you are having an issue with the broadband speeds.

 

I've run some tests on your line and everything has come back as fine.

 

Are you testing the speeds through a wired or wireless connection? If wireless, can you try through wired please?

 

Do all devices achieve the same speeds?
