Free Upgrade

I am on a Full House bundle. I just rang VM as I notice I can have an upgrade to VIVID 350 with no additional monthly fee and no activation fee.

They offered to upgrade to 350 immediately but I pointed out I was on Hub 2 and 350 would require Hub 3

I was then offered Hub 3,delivery only at £5 or an engineer to fit for £40!

i didn’t consider that a “ free” upgrade!

Anyone had similar experience? Anyone had a Hub 3 fitted for free?

A golden rule I live by is if it aint broke dont fix it. I was offered a free Hub3 + 350 a year or two ago for just the delivery charge. So said yes. When it arrived my lad nearly had a heart attack and threatened me with terrible vengence if I ever connected that piece of bleep. TBF - this was before the latest firmware was released and at the height of the Puma6 chipset furore for gamers - and he is a "serious" online gamer. So back it went and we have been fault free on Vivid200 ever since. I would just ask, why do you want/need the upgrade?
