Flashing green light

Hello

I’ve just installed our hub but the bottom light won’t stop flashing green. The online diagnostics doesn’t tell me there’s a specific problem. Can’t get through to anyone in customer support as a ‘system is down. Please help. Thanks.

If your connection is working fine with no issues it’s completely normal. As you’ve just installed the hub it’s likely downloading/applying the latest firmware update.

Thanks Static. Do you know how long that usually takes? I’ve left it on for two hours now and it’s flashing.

It can take hours, mine did when I got the Hub 3, as long as your connection is working fine there’s nothing to worry about. If it’s still doing it after 24 hours, turn off the hub for 30 seconds and let it start up. Sometimes a manual reboot is required to force the update to install.

This has started this morning and no reason for it as far as I can tell.

I phoned up VM and the person simply said there was no problem the modem was looking for devices.

I have read elsewhere this is a known issue and VM have not resolved the matter with updated Firmware.

Could someone clarify if there is a 100% solution available?

The flashing WiFi icon is a bug but doesn’t affect performance, connectivity or security. Just a visual glitch.
