Hi there - apparently Virgin are rolling out fibre in our area - but it seems really patchy and only digging up a couple of hundred yards at a time! I'm keen to know when - or if - I am on plans for FTTP by Virgin - where could I find this out? Many thanks.

Look for the local authority road works website for your region
For us once the ground works completed the service was live in 2 months i.e. a VM Hub installed and working.

When VM installed for our area the only clue we had was from the local authorities records for approved road works.
I viewed these here :
https://www.essexhighways.org/interactive-maps-and-live-travel-information/future-roadworks-map
this link in not limited to Essex, try your postcode and "Next twelve months"

Many thanks - what was the delay between the roadworks and the actual availability of the service (which is what I'm after 😁 )? Equally intrigued why the patchy digging up of the roads - they do about 7 or 8 houses and that's it. I would have thought they would have continued down the street!

Alas one.network does not seem to know Scotland exists! 🙂 Anyone from Vigin on this group who could advise?
