F secure

Hi, we recently signed up for broadband and received an email saying that we had a free 3 month trial for F Secure and then it was £3 a month. We didn’t sign up for this and don’t want it.
We can’t remove it from anything as we haven’t installed anything or started out internet with yourselves yet.

I saw another post on the same topic and an advisor stated that after the three months you have to actively put your bank details in for it and it is not automatically added to your account/ bill. Is this still correct? I wanted to check as the post was from last year.

Thanks

It's still correct.

Virgin Media Security is a separate charge to your cable services, and requires an active sign up at F-Secure. The emails you're sent are to tell you of the offer, it's not automatic.

You won't get charged if you haven't explicitly given F-Secure your payment details.
