Ethernet-to-Wifi adapter

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 with a dead wifi card. Ethernet works fine, but I have a limited number of devices I can connect directly to my router. Has anyone who's had experience using an ethernet-to-wifi adapter believe it's worth the money, or if it's even a viable solution in my case? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

They are not worth the money and give lots of problems. Just get a 5 port network switch, costs about £12.
